When a FitStrip is used in a curved position, proper lateral pressure must be maintained (pressure against the tooth following the curvature of the strip) or the strip will "bunch up", subsequently bending a small portion at either end of the strip past its breaking point.
The stiff nature of the Fusion Anterior matrices will maintain proper interproximal anatomy regardless of how firmly composite is compressed into the restoration. Mylar is easily distorted, thereby necessitating difficult adjustments to critical interpoximal areas.
Yes. The FitStrip handle properly attaches to all the abrasive strips within the FitStrip line.

A 23-year-old male presented with recurrent caries under an existing composite restoration on the distal of his lower left lateral incisor
Patient was referred to dental office to replace composite fillings with secondary caries in esthetic zone. It was decided to start the treatment with tooth 12 because of deepest caries lesion. After placing dental dam system, composite and caries were removed.
This article is a case report of a direct composite restoration on a maxillary anterior tooth where the proximal contact and incised edge position were developed using the Fusion™ Anterior Matrix System.
To manage anterior interproximal restorations, it is appropriate to use sectional or strip matrices (metal or plastic), which, however, are sometimes not easy to fit or do not allow simple management of the connection between the interproximal wall and palatal wall.
