Deep margin elevation for the general dentist. This technique isn’t always necessary, but incorporating it into your arsenal can greatly increase the efficiency of your workflow, as well as the improve the final outcome of your restorations.



In this course we will discuss what situations benefit most from a DME approach. We will also cover the most challenging aspects of managing extremely difficult class II restorations including isolation, matrix selection and placement, and how to better control the contour of these subgingival fillings.

Your Instructor:

Dr. John D. Corey earned his DDS from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, TX. He went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Texas A&M College of Dentistry where he received the Excellence in Restorative Dentistry Award from The Southwest Academy of Restorative Dentistry. He maintains a private practice in West Michigan and works as an independent tester for various dental companies.
